On behalf of our staff, Governing Body and pupils it is with great pleasure that we welcome you to our school website. Larkswood Primary School is a three form entry primary school in the London Borough of Waltham Forest, catering for children between the ages of three and eleven. We have places for around 750 children, with a maximum of 30 children per class. Our children come from a wide variety of nationalities and backgrounds and everybody is valued as part of our friendly learning community. Everybody is treated fairly and it is expected that everyone works hard to do their very best. Rigorous quality assurance processes and thorough on going training opportunities ensure that we provide a high standard of teaching, with the commitment that every child has the opportunity to make a successful start to their education. We very much welcome parents and carers as partners in their children’s education and work hard to foster positive links between learning at home and at school. Our modern building provides an exceptional learning environment and we focus on creating learning experiences for children that will foster creative thinkers, lifelong learners and academic success. We have very high expectations of what children can achieve and strive to innovate and inspire all children to attain their very best and become confident, sensitive, productive and successful individuals. Visits to the school are strongly encouraged and we look forward to meeting you.
